In this post, I’m writing about my favorite skincare products. I’ve stopped using regular moisturizing face cream and lotions for several years, and now I’m kind of addicted to serums with natural formula because it better suites my combination skin needs.

First product is Skin Cleansing Serum with 20% Vitamin C, 2% Salicylic Acid, 2% Retinol, 3,5% Niacinamide, 5% Hyaluronic Acid, 10% MSM from Eva Naturals.

This is a wonderful product! Retinol works great for acne treatment, cleansing clogged pores and making them appear smaller. Salicylic Acid gives your skin the exfoliating effects and after the first week, I’ve noticed that my pigmentation from sun damage (little cost to pay for living in beautiful and sunny Florida) almost faded away. In comparison, last February I did full 3 weeks treatment of professional chemical peel with Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and results were very disappointing. I’ve also noticed, that after this serum I don’t have a thin oily layer on my face in the morning as I had before when I’ve used night creams. Niacinamide works for glowing effect!

Second in the mix is Peptide Complex Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Chamomile Extract, Aloe Vera and Jojoba oil from QRxLabs.

I usually add 2-3 drops of Frankincense Essential Oil, known for its ability to rejuvenate skin and use it on my neck to reduce the appearance of the wrinkles and age marks. Frankincense essential oil continues to be one of the most popular essential oils due to its many amazing benefits. As a bonus, the oil scent promotes peace, tranquility, and overall wellness in the home.

Frankincense oil was one of the three gifts brought to the baby Jesus upon his birth. It comes from the Boswellia tree that is native to northeast Africa and India, and it is often burned and used in religious ceremonies to this day.

Another one of my favorite skincare essentials is Natural Glow 3 in 1 Treatment with Argan Oil and Omega from Andalou Naturals.

I use this amazing oil for massage therapy. I would not recommend it for everyday use as it is a little bit heavy on the skin complexion. The manufacturer has also improved its formula, and now it has Vitamin C in it.

Fragrances “Made in France”

This unisex fragrance is incomparable! Nicely balanced with a very peaceful accords of floral and citrus. Balance is the key to this fragrance as it blends perfectly and keeps you guessing for a great amount of time, not overpowering nor nonexistent.

Bal d’Afrique

Top: Bergamot, lemon, neroli, African marigold, bucchu
Heart: Violet, Jasmine petals, cyclamen
Base: Black amber, musk, vetiver, Moroccan cedarwood

I found this fragrance a few years ago while visiting my friend in Dubai. For all the years of friendship we have same taste in scent but one of us always finds something unique. This time she had the one I like and again I felt like this fragrance is so me.

Do Son Eau de Parfum

Top: Tuberose, jasminum sambac
Heart: Iris, pink peppercorn, orange blossom
Base: Turkish rose, musk floral (but not sweet)

I love this scent because it is so feminine and timeless but not old fashioned. I feel classy and unique wearing this long lasting fragrance. With this purchase I got a sample of another wonderful, fresh spring scent – Diptyque Ofresia Eau de Toilette. This fruity fragrance has a blend of ofresia blends white freesia with black pepper, and aromatic notes.

Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum? The difference lies in the volume of perfume oil. While Eau de Toilette contains 5-9%, Eau de Parfum contains usually 8-14%. Eau de Parfums therefore last longer and smell more intense.

Philosykos Eau de Parfum

Top: Fig tree leaf, green fruit
Heart: Fig tree wood, milky sap
Base: White cedar, musk

Another great fragrance from Diptyque. Philosykos means “friend of the fig tree” in Greek. This scent is very distinctively nurtured with green fruit, wood, and thick leaves but not too sweet or overpowering. This Magical fragrance reminds me of my summer vacation in Toscana: ripe figs, green leaves, cedar, and a hint of caramelized sugar. Neither overly green nor sweet.

I usually keep no more than 2-3 scents at a time in a smaller size bottles since fragrance has expiration date. After that the scent may change.

Floral Dress

My favorite theme for this season is Floral. This dress is one of my favorite buys. I got it at Nordstrom Rack on a whim with 90% reduced price. At first, I was a little skeptical about it but it flew beautifully on that windy day and made me feel like the salsa dancing emoji! I have never received so many compliments on a dress before.

Ralph Lauren T-stripe sandals with stacked block heels from Amazon in this season are trendy and comfortable.

By the way, this dress also goes great with sneakers. For all-day comfort with a lot of walking at Orlando Universal Studios Park I picked Earth QUINCE sneakers. I really adore these shoes for perforations, cushioned arch support and the clean classic look.

They’re not too narrow and are very comfortable.

Kimono. Lovely Style Outfit Ideas

Traditional kimono have gorgeous designs and coloring and existed for more than a thousand years. The word kimono in Japanese means a “thing to wear” but over the years, the kimono transformed from an everyday garment into one worn mainly on a special occasions.

This 3/4 sleeve kimono with structured sleeves and open front adds a perfect finishing touch to any outfit creating looks that transition well from day to night. Its vibrant floral pattern is refreshing and goes great with much darker colors that you can choose to wear with. I’ve added dark blue denim as a accent color to this outfit.

For this outfit I choose to keep colors in the family. I’ve added one more bright color with lavender t-shirt and completed my look with foggy-grey dress pumps with metallic details for contrast.

Last weekend my friend and I went on the shopping hunt for beachwear/bathing suit cover up. We found this beautiful colorful kimono. Its perfect for spending day near the pool or at the beach as a layer over the bikini.

This Butterfly Sleeve Kimono with elegant floral pattern will bring effortless romance to chic style if you paired it with jeans and plain t-shirt for the night out, great for a vacation.

Too loose or Too Tight

I know, if you want your legs to look beautiful, you need to wear the right shoes. I found my perfect nude pumps at Nine West! They are comfortable, versatile and true to the size even with my narrow width. I have many interesting outfit ideas in mind with them. Classic on a budget they go nicely with dress, skinny jeans or slim pants giving that gorgeous illusion of having longer stems. Some people are not happy with the quality of leather, but personally, I love this brand and have 5 pairs of them.

Celebrities often have to wear high heels for hours on end and there’s nothing glamorous about swollen, painful feet. Sometimes you see them on the red carpet wearing heels far longer or wider than their feet – but it turns out there is a very good reason why.

According to Brightside, wearing oversized shoes will help prevent your feet from swelling and forming blisters because larger-sized heels won’t rub, pinch or squeeze.

I always have issues with the right shoe when it keeps on slipping off my foot but gladly today the market has a huge selection of any kind size solving products. As another lifehack from celebrities, I insert silicone pads to compensate the length and keep it neat and fit. When I’m on my feet for hours I add double-sided tape which is perfect for both heels and flats and makes you walk all day with confidence in any pair of shoes.

And here are some examples of really poor choice of shoes that make your feet look hideously unpleasant.

Cozy Sweater

Today we went to get our first live Christmas Tree! It came with the refreshing smell of a rich pine forest, reminding me of snow, hot chocolate, fireplace and cozy clothes! I miss warm, cozy sweaters and boots, especially since I live in Florida but today the weather was a little chilly (49F/9C is really cold even for Orlando in December). This sweater was sitting in my closet for two years, never worn…. so, today was the day!

The white one is actually a beach cover/dress. Thick knitted cotton was too hot to wear in the summer, but for my look, it is perfect, snaggy and long enough for the first layer of my outfit. Adding a relaxed-fitting scoop-neck, cozy “too short” sweater from Buffalo David Bitton with shorter front and longer back, created a layering effect that I love.

I love Blazers!

Blazer is an essential item to have in your wardrobe because it is versatile and can be worn in so many different ways. For some people it’s black and tailored, for others it’s shrunken and embellished or oversized and navy. It all depends on your personal preferences and finding the right style and size is most important!

I’ve always wanted a blazer. I’ve tried several different styles and brands but nothing looked good on me and this fall I finally got one from Amazon. It’s gorgeous and exactly what I’ve wanted. I like grey – one of the universal and beautiful colors. Grey can be mixed with almost every other color and I don’t know if I can find 50 shades of grey, but definitely more than one.

But… size 2 was the only one available (usually I wear size 4) so it was a bit small. Another thing I’ve noticed was this jacket had padded shoulders which don’t look good if you have DD size cup. It makes you body a rectangle shaped figure.

As I searched for a perfect Blazer I got this classic grey plaid one-button boyfriend jacket from Target. It has red slightly noticeable stripes and looks nice with a blouse and pointed-toe flats. I love the grey-red mix.

You can also add a belt to make it look different and interesting.

Here are some jackets from Nordstrom and if we take into consideration price tag, my Target blazer is not that bad and best overall quality and price!

Say YES to Minimalism

In the past, I used to work at the fine jewelry department and one day at Christmas Holiday sale I came across these earrings, clean and simple. I liked them because at first, they seemed nice, without any stones, as I wanted. Something new I thought and they would look great with my black cocktail dress. However, I didn’t try them on and it was a mistake.

Always try on earrings before you buy because it might completely dominate your face depending on the shape and size of your head.

These earrings looked so big on me when I wore them at Christmas party that now I’m thinking to re-purpose them into rings as I pictured below.

Say YES to Minimalism these days. It’s stylish and trendy.

Cubic Zirconia is a fabulouse alternative to diamonds, just don’t go after big sizes. The more moderate they are, the more realistic they will appear.

Here I found some new interesting earrings for this Christmas.
