Traditional kimono have gorgeous designs and coloring and existed for more than a thousand years. The word kimono in Japanese means a “thing to wear” but over the years, the kimono transformed from an everyday garment into one worn mainly on a special occasions.
This 3/4 sleeve kimono with structured sleeves and open front adds a perfect finishing touch to any outfit creating looks that transition well from day to night. Its vibrant floral pattern is refreshing and goes great with much darker colors that you can choose to wear with. I’ve added dark blue denim as a accent color to this outfit.
For this outfit I choose to keep colors in the family. I’ve added one more bright color with lavender t-shirt and completed my look with foggy-grey dress pumps with metallic details for contrast.
